Growing up in Eagle Rock, Virginia, I spent my life fishing musky waters. Aside from occasionally having a musky strike a smallmouth bait—or even eat the smallmouth itself—I didn’t truly know what I was doing at first. Once I learned how to properly target these fish, I began using the baits available on the market.

Through meeting anglers from many backgrounds, I noticed a growing demand for lures that weren’t traditional “musky baits.” Instead, anglers wanted bass-style jointed glide baits reinforced to withstand the power of a musky, or jointed swimbaits strong enough to handle a 50-pound striper without falling apart.

With that vision in mind, I combined my background in CNC machining, over a decade of experience working with liquid resins in custom fabrication, and my constant pursuit of perfection to launch a custom lure business.
